At times collectors of 1:43 scale models may feel a bit left out given Australia is very much a 1:18 scale nation. 1:43 is definitely in the shadow of its 1:18 scale cousins. That doesn’t mean there’s no big news for collectors of the ‘world scale’ though.
We are very excited to announce the pending production of two of the most talked about 1:43 scale models in recent memory. We have had request after request for these cars but we have had to hold off on making any announcements until now.
Scheduled for production shortly and due for delivery pre-christmas we have the long awaited 1989 Bathurst-winning Ford Sierra driven by Dick Johnson and John Bowe along with the 1972 Bathurst-winning Holden GTR XU-1 Torana driven by Peter Brock to the final Bathurst win by a single driver.
Both models will be limited edition (numbers set by order quantities received), produced to the usual high standard of our resin 1:43 scale models and due to arrive pre-Christmas.
Items shown in these images are prototype samples and may change before production.
This 1:18 scale model has just been released and we have one left.
The model number is 18627 and it is priced at $250.
There was only 700 made of this model and they are sold out so if you want one
you had better grab it quickly.
The launch of the XT in March 1968 kept the Aussie muscle car alive, and had legendary battles with the Holden Monaro around the Bathurst track.
The new Falcon was even more potent and attractive than the previous XR, and was now available in a range of colours, a step up from the XR.
Only one sample of the XT GT was produced in Starlight Blue.
Please include your phone number on your preorder.

With the banning of cigarette advertising coming into the sport at the end of 1995, Phillip Morris had to get creative to stay in the sport and approached Alan Jones to run a two-car team under the banner of Pack Leader Racing.
Alan brought in Ross and Jim Stone to operate the team and the beautiful blue and yellow Fords hit the track for the 1996 season with Alan driving car #301 and Paul Romano driving the sister #201 car. For the Bathurst 1000 the services of Allan Grice were employed to co-drive with Jones but the race was cut short for car #301 on lap 25 with a massive engine fire forcing him to stop the car on the climb up to the cutting.
The scenes of the marshals scrambling to put out the fire before the car was destroyed have become some of the most memorable TV footage from Bathurst in the 1990s.
As with previous models from our EF and EL Falcon range, this model will be produced in diecast metal with opening doors, bonnet and boot. Exceptional work has been put into replicating the interior, engine bay, boot and under body details for this model. It really is a beautiful piece and will look great in everyone’s collection.
We are also extremely proud to announce that Alan Jones will be hand signing each individually numbered certificate for this model.
