The retro-liveried car celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Supercheap Auto Racing.
The unique purple, red and yellow scheme was originally raced by John Briggs on his Ford EL Falcon Supercar at the start of the 1999 season, Supercheap Auto’s second year in the sport.
The sample model shown in the pictures above was developed prior to the Sandown and therefore there are some variances between it and the actual car Chaz Mostert and Steve Owen have raced in the event. It is not final production specification. Checks and corrections have already been made to ensure the production model will accurately represent the car raced at Sandown
This 1:18 scale model has been released and will arrive early next week.
It is available now to purchase and stock is very limited.
The model number is 18634 and it is priced at $250
This model is limited to 750 and features fully opening parts.
For the 1994 Bathurst, a young Craig Lowndes (20 years of age) teamed up with HRT endurance driver Brad Jones. Jones was able to qualify the 015 HRT in 9th position after the top 10 shoot-out.
Due to wet conditions, the safety car was called upon many times during the early stages of the race. After a late double stint from Jones, the 015 HRT was in a podium position, Lowndes took over the driving for the final sprint.
With only 11 laps remaining Lowndes was winning the race , if only briefly, as a fast finishing John Bowe retook the lead.
Lowndes would go on to finish the race in 2nd position.
These models are due for release around February 2018.
This livery pays homage to the famous 1977 Ford 1-2 victory of Allan Moffat and Colin Bond’s 1977 Ford XC Falcons. The 1977 race is arguably one of the most famous victories in the history of the great race with Moffat Ford Dealer Team XC Hardtops forming up down Conrad Straight for the now iconic footage.
PLEASE NOTE: The sample model as shown in this newsletter was developed prior to the event and therefore there are some variances between it and the actual car Mark and Dean will be racing this weekend. It is not final production specification. Checks and corrections have already been made to ensure the production model will accurately represent the car that begins The Great Race on Sunday.
This 1:18 scale model has been released and is available now to purchase on our website.

1991 TOOHEYS 1000 HOLDEN VN COMMODORE SS GROUP A CROMPTON / JONES
Following on from the very popular Allan Grice/Win Percy #16 car, we have the #7 sister car coming soon to complete the set. Although similar in many ways to the #16 car (with the HRT specific tooling featuring engine bay, boot, undercarriage, wheels, and interior details), the Crompton/Jones car additionally has it’s own unique parts.
This car carried not one, but 2 racecam cameras. One in the conventional location attached to the roll cage in the cockpit, and one smaller version recessed into the passenger side headlight!
During development of this model we have been careful to be as precise and accurate as we can in replicating these features to allow our collectors to take the time to spot and admire these little differences across our VN range. We hope you get as much satisfaction with this as we had in developing it!
Produced in die-cast with fully opening parts, highly detailed engine bay, boot, racing interior and a beautifully replicated livery, this is a must have limited edition collectable for Holden, HRT and Bathurst 1000 fans.
Please note this model is limited to only 400 pieces so be sure to get your order in quick.
