Following his maiden Championship win in 2018, McLaughlin was practically an unstoppable force in 2019 aboard a brand new Ford Mustang GT. He opened the 2019 season by giving the Mustang a win on debut in Adelaide and never looked back, breaking numerous records including the most race wins in a single season and a Bathurst 1000 victory along the way.
He ultimately clinched his second championship win to become just the 10th driver in ATCC / VASC history to win back-to-back titles after a year where he took 18 wins, 15 poles and 22 podiums, along with being voted the Most Popular Driver by the fans and the Driver’s Driver by his peers.
Featuring the artwork of Australian designer / illustrator Tristan Groves, this impressive vector illustrated print shows an excited McLaughlin celebrating and raising two fingers as a nod to becoming a two-time champion along with his winning Mustang. The print measures 594mm X 841mm printed on 250gsm matte paper using offset print technology and will be individually numbered and signed by the artist in a limited edition of only 350 copies.

In 1980, Allan Moffat looked as though he would not be competing in the Australian Touring Car Championship as the attempted homologation of the Mazda RX7 had fallen through appearing to leave him without a drive for Sandown and Bathurst.
A deal was struck and then came the shock announcement that for the race, Moffat would be driving the No.25 Holden Dealer Team VC Commodore, the sister car to the HDT No.05 VC Commodore of Peter Brock.
The 1980 Hang Ten 400 was an endurance race for Group C Touring Cars staged at the Sandown Circuit and the event was marked by the fact it was only the second time Moffat had driven a Holden and he was in the same team as his arch rival, Peter Brock.
Brock and Moffat made it an all HDT front row on the grid. Brock won the start and Moffat remained in second place until lap 42 when after sliding wide, he hit a barrier and had to pit. After rejoining the race he pitted again to have some loose wheel nuts tightened. Allan was a lap down, but worked his way through the field to eventually finishing the race in third place.
Allan Moffat performed admirably as a guest driver in a well deserved 3rd place finish on a podium shared by only Holden VC Commodore drivers.
Garth Tander in his Toll HSV Dealer Team Holden claimed the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship in a thrilling final round at Phillip Island.
Tander won the round to claim his first Championship win by just 2 points from Ford rival Jamie Whincup.
Comes in a display box and is a limited edition and includes a certificate of Authenticity.
The model number is 18716 and it is priced at $270
Late in 1970, Ford replaced the XW range with the new XY range. As with the XW, a GT was also released. By the first half of 1971, a GT-H0, the Phase 3 was delivered. This GT-HO was a true supercar and with a top speed of over 140mph was the fastest four door sedan in the world at the time. Approximately 300 XY GT-HO Phase 3 Falcons were produced.
The Phase 3 comes with the top of the line interior with 140mph speedometer and an 8000rpm tachometer. It also sports the protruding aircleaner scoop in the bonnet famously known as a “shaker”.
Preorders close Monday 2nd March and a phone number is required.
Features include opening doors and bonnet, full race interior, engine and chassis detail.
In 1984 Dick Johnson envisioned the Ford Mustang GT as a car that could be competitive under the new Group A racing rules scheduled for 1985. He tracked down two in Germany and took them back to his Queensland workshops for an engine rebuild and thorough race fitout.
Although Johnson described the car as one of the best handling and braking cars he has ever driven, the lack of engine power meant that during the 1985 ATCC season the car was not as competitive as he’d hoped.
After qualifying 3rd for the 1985 Bathurst 1000, Dick Johnson and Larry Perkins finished seventh in their Palmer Tube Mills Ford Mustang GT, four laps down from the winning John Goss Jaguar XJ-S.
“The Mustang was a great little car. It’s just unfortunate the power-to-weight ratio was not the most desirable, but the handling, braking and stability was superb. It was a damn good car…” – Dick Johnson.

This also marks a new standard in Autoart’s efforts to provide us with ever increasingly accurate models. An original car was hand 3D scanned to get the shape as close to original as possible. It also has been replicated in the new composite material which Autoart has been perfecting over the last few years. It allows us to finally bring the XB GT Sedan to the collectors after what felt like a lifetime of waiting!
